The workshop is aimed at representatives of micro-, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), who are interested in implementing modern additive technologies for the development of new products, optimizing production processes and increasing competitiveness.

Workshop ‘New opportunities in production thanks to additive technologies’ Aimed at acquainting representatives of micro, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) with modern digital production technologies, which reduce the cost of product development, accelerate the introduction of new products on the market and increase the competitiveness of enterprises.

Participants will receive a practical understanding of the full cycle of additive production – from 3D scanning and digital modeling to manufacture, post-processing and testing of the finished product. During the event, the opportunities of the Science Park, educational programs for the development of staff competencies and technical services that can be used by companies to create prototypes, reverse engineering, modernization and implementation of innovative projects will be presented.

Particular attention is paid to the practical cases of using additive technologies in the activities of SMEs, in particular:

• rapid prototyping of new products;
• manufacture of single and small-scale products;
• restoration and modernization of parts by reverse engineering;
• reduction of development time and production costs;
• digitalization of production processes and introduction of innovations.

According to the results of the workshop, participants will get acquainted with modern solutions in the field of additive production, assess the potential of their implementation in their own enterprises and receive information about the opportunities for further cooperation with the science park on staff training, engineering services, development of new products and implementation of joint innovative projects.

Processing of 3D-model – cleaning, editing of a grid, elimination of defects, preparation of model.3. Preparation for 3D-printing – selection of technology and material, model orientation, support generation, setting of printing parameters.4.
