Edih Kyivhitech at Moldova Digital Summit 2026: From networking to new opportunities for Ukrainian SMEs

Representatives of EDIH Kyivhitech – Oksana Yurchishin and Volodymyr Nochvai – took part in Moldova Digital Summit 2026, which took place under the slogan “Where Digital Vision Meets European Ambition”.

EDIH Workshop: Digital Transformation in Action
As part of the summit with the support of GIZ, a practical workshop was held ‘Edih In Action: Powering Digital Transformation for Smes’, is devoted to how European digital innovation hubs support small and medium-sized businesses and public institutions – in particular in the fields of transport, logistics and cross-border processes.
The event gathered representatives:
- EU delegations in Moldova and representatives of European programs, in particular, EU Enlargement, EBRD, EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.
- Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of Moldova
- GIZ (DT4SME and EastNT projects)
- Ecikh from Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Germany and the Western Balkans
- SMEs and public institutions
From the ecosystem to real services
The workshop combined strategic speeches, practical cases from mature and lively interaction between hubs and potential beneficiaries. During an interactive session ‘From Needs to Solutions Delivered by Edihs’ Participants in the format of group work:
- identified the key needs of digital transformation,
- They compared them with the services of these
- The first steps of service routes for enterprises were developed.

Representatives of EDIH Kyivhitech acted as facilitators of one of the working groups – together with colleagues from EDIH Moldova, Digimak (North Macedonia) and Win2edih.

New Partnerships and Next Steps
The traditional result of participation in such events was active networking. In particular, following the results of the interactive session, a dialogue began with Kamar Aden Omar, Project Manager Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund (EDIH-DO | ATLAS), on the possibility of providing services to foreign services for Ukrainian SMEs.
